dunno seems to me you just weren't a fan of JJ's version. Plus stop pretending the originals were better than they were, 2 of the 3 films weren't even good in the OG Trilogy! I think Disney has handled many of its properties very well. The Marvel Cinematic Universe, as a whole is fine -I agree, and even bland. But when they do well it's definitely something worth seeing. For example their handling of the Captain America movies have been good. The GotG movies are consistent.. however, I agree the GotG (and new Thor)'s style definitely is not the template I want Star Wars to adopt going forward
