Animal Crossing games sometimes get overlooked when people are talking about Nintendo system-sellers. The Wii U's lack of one after so many successful entries was pretty glaring to me. It does have a chance to be a true beast on Switch in particular because the franchise has proven itself on both handheld and home consoles already, and if the mobile game does its job of luring in new or lapsed gamers.
