Hmm... people have always compared console sales vs console sales. Not handheld + console vs console. This is a relatively new thing - I’d say since the WiiU.

but what i took is this wasnt intended to be console vs console, it was intended more as total sales vs total sales, which clearly would include all sources of dedicated console hardware sales - for sony, that is PS4 (and vita, but we do not know enough yet + it contributes very little) and for nintendo, that includes switch and 3ds.
