Kirby could be released before Yoshi since it appeared in the Direct and Yoshi didn't, you're right. The reason for Yoshi being january and Kirby march on my list however is because Kirby's planned for a spring release and there's still no game announced for january and february. We also got like 30min of Yoshi gameplay at Treehouse e3 2017, so Yoshi could be closer to completion and Nintendo just might not have been able to make more than two trailers for Yoshi (e3 2017 + launch) due to it not having enough new gameplay ideas to make another one. The game is probably more about only one big idea so an extended gameplay fits more than a few trailers which would all show the same concept.
