This is actually a pretty interesting question/idea but unfortunately the OP is not fully developed and is filled with grammatical errors. Definitely NOT one of the worst threads to the person who said that.

I was a pretty big shooter fan in like 2010 - 2012, I have lost interest a tad but it's still one of my most played genres. I played some Splatoon 1 but never got into it really. My experienc with shooters recently has been Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege, and Playerunknown's Battlegrounds .. though in a smaller compacity then had they released 5 years ago. I'm not like, a COD player or a shooter bro but I am very experienced in the genre.

So anways as a big shooter fan ... I really enjoy Splatoon. I think it's quality gets conflated with how "unique" it is...which is something that kind of bugs me. I think the game has a lot of problems. But it's definitely very enjoyable. I think it's surprising how much aspects of shooters work so much better in Splatoon with small tweaks. As someone who has seen entire analysis videos on why the games are great, I still think a lot of people forget the small differences that really make it stand out.

For instance the Battlefield series has adopted bullet drop since like Battlefield 3, but it has more or less just been an annoyance to create a "realistic difficulty gap". In Splatoon though ink drop over long distances is an actual tool you can use to your advantage. In general connecting your weapons with the actual map is a great idea, because it maintains focus on the environment and the objective. The Battlefield series is super overrated and it's mostly because the games emphasize "teamwork" but are created more so with the idea that you can just run like a chicken with your head cut off around an objective, shooting everyone in the point until you can just go and take it. Connecting the actual objective to your basic act of shooting assures that you're almost always progressing further.

That being said, it's not acceptable just how bad the non-gyro controls are. Especially because it's on a handheld.
