If MS fixes their lack of exclusives they would be in a really nice position

Truth is I don't think much of the PS/XBox buyer base gives that much of a crap, they are buying those systems for the big gun third party IPs -- your CODs, GTAs, Destinys, Maddens, NBA2Ks, Battlefield, Star Wars Battlefront, etc.

XBox One X will have all of those on top of being the most powerful system by a good margin, those are more key. The price point being a bit high I'd say is the bigger issue, but looks like early adopters are pre-ordering the thing like crazy.

Majority of console buyers don't care, but when games like Halo 5 and Gears 4 don't deliver like they should it makes a difference. Not that those are bad games because I've put hundreds of hours into both, but they're not as popular. If MS would have come out with a big new AAA IP as popuular as Gears and Halo they would have more support.
