The issue is that they clearly tried too hard to overproduce it. Also, I have seen people say they dropped the mic which interrupted his singing. See the top comment of his live performance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqlErxS43Vw

Anyway, I guess I can't complain. Personally, i'd like to see Preacher Lawson or the ventriloquist win. Preacher is a memorable comedian who may not be george Carlin level, but his energy makes me appreciate him (along with him not needing to rely on dark humour). The ventriloquist is also amazing and one of the few moments I enjoy seeing singers.

Also, fuck heidi. What a dumbass host. Telling Puddles to be happy? The fuck? For Christ's sake how stupid can a person be

Even looking at just the stuff he did on Postmodern Jukebox, can think of a few songs that might have gone over better. Aw well. >.<
