ironically enough, nintendo is in the best position to sell VR.
they have tonnes of expirience in the genre with the 3ds and virtual boy.
thier current system has a EMBEDDED SCREEN, and is not that heavy, and thier default countrolers can be cheaper move controlers.
they just need to make a switch pro with a 1440p display at 600~700$ or something(with possible 4K docked) while realesing a 300$ switch SP.
as the PSVR is currently I don't see it selling.

This is most a post I wrote for a thread about Nintendo entering the VR market with the Switch.

"For one, it's display is way too low res to work for VR. The entire screen has less pixels than PSVR does per eye. Beyond that, neither the Joy-Cons or the Switch itself have positional tracking,  so it would be just 360 veiwing, like mobile VR. Then we come to the actual ergonomics of the thing, the Switch tablet all by itself weighs more than the entire PSVR headset, and all the weight it way out past the screen.

VR with the current Switch would be awful. Worse than the experience to be had with a phone and a holder like the one you linked to."

There's no way the Switch would work for VR.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
