They'd end up with egg on their face, but why not release a new Xbox (4?) in another year or so? Or maybe we're missing the point, if Microsoft really believes in incremental improvements over time it'll just keep putting out better Xbox Ones. I think that's a mistaken strategy, but it means they could just release a new model every 12 months.
