I did something very similar, but the itching was more focused around the groin and balls, and instead of Lysol I used ethanol. Apparently I had lots of scratches too, and seems like balls are kinda sensitive on top of that. It burned really bad, but not for very long. It kind felt like small, sharp, flaming needles were piercing my balls too. I figured all the burning meant it should work and I was really broke so I talked myself into doing it again twice a day for a few days.

It didn't work.
