I will believe in a 2018 release once I can see copies of the game on store shelves, btw the whole D23 presentation was awful, 0 new gameplay for Spiderman, 30 minutes spent on Star Wars Battlefront 2 bragging about the protagonist being female, one useless AR device, an Avengers Oculus Rift game that look terrible and a sequel to a Lego game. Without the KH3 news it would have been worse than the EA press conference at this year's E3
