You see... i don't really agree. It depends.
The problem with Versus XIII was the hardware capabilities. That is not the problem with KH3.
So, i'd be perfectly fine with a 6-12 month delay if it means we will get a better and more complete game (wich is something we didnt get with FFXV).
Aslong as it still comes out this gen, i'm ok with it. The problem with squeenix is when these development woes pass multiple gens. Then, there is no recovering it. It's ok to delay some for quality control... it's not ok to have it go years on end.
Also, it was stupid in the first place for them to use up resources on more ports and HD collections. The aqua portion of 2.8 could have been in KH3, aswell as the movies of key. 3D could've shown up with a story so far featurete that didn't need actual development time.
