The Switch is a replacement for both 3DS and Wii U. It's no surprise that it's sales are big despite a lack luster software line up.

I think it sells great the first 3 years as all the big Wii U and 3DS franchises hit the platform. Then sales will settle down.

I think it will take longer than 3 years for all the big franchises to be out being the successor to 2 platforms.

Maybe, really depends how fast Nintendo can pump out games now it can focus on one system.

Honestly I'd expect Pokemon, Animal Crossing, 2d Mario and Smash Bros out in less than 3 years, and Fire Emblem is next year too, not sure what Big Franchises will be still missing, probably forgot something though.

Though I don't think Switch is going to be particurly front-loaded like Kerotan says.
