Yeah, made a reddit post at the same time I did this, and someone posted the US boxart which is what you would expect, full of puyo and tetrominoes.
Good to know at least some publisher got it right, and you got some key chains in the deal too

I know, I know. But I wanted this game ever since it was announced on the WiiU and it skipped its western release. Last Friday, I saw it for its appropiate 30€ price tag, so I had to get it even though it's the french edition :/
