Maybe it's because back in the day Mega Man 2 was the landmark of this, so to speak. You come from an era (I presume, no clue to be honest) on which you could already play both and have conscience of what you were doing, and thus, adding your skills with videogame already into equation, could overcome MM2 easier than how people could back in the day.
