Hiya folks,
So, last week 2 vgchartzers actually met up in real life, Padib came to Boston for a wedding and crashed at my place!
Pads is way different in real life than he is on these forums, he's always smiling and full of energy, and is down to do whatever. First thing he says, "Prof is real!"
We went into my humble abode and he was shocked to see how many games I actually had. Although I don't comport myself like a lot of the gamers here, I have a huge collection, and he was shocked to see that I owned a Wii. He was like, "so it wasn't just shit talking!" lol Anyways, we went out and grabbed some drinks and talked about stuff. He reminded me that the one thing he remembers most about me is the one time I went into a thread of his and called him grumpywhale instead of happydolphin. We talked about a whole bunch of things, including religion of course, and while we disagree on philosophical standpoints, he is very learned in Biblical studies.
The next day we went and got breakfast and went for a walk and talked about life. Both of us come from similar experiences so we related a lot. It was great, and we want to go visit pezus, and stalk Rol, although we don't think Rol would open the door even if we did find him/her.
