This is just being stupid. The idea that every religious person is bloodthirsty and being held back by the laws in their country is absolutely ridiculous.
I know it's a common thing to fall prey to availability heuristics and analyse a group or situation based on examples that come to mind, but that certainly doesnt mean religious reactions you see on the news defines the group. Hell, your idea of religion comes from a lack of understanding just like the christians who want to go killing gay people. That's not a religious ideology, that's a group of people who wanna kill gay people because they grew up in a house where their parents wante the same due to an inherent mistrust of groups that are seen as "other."
