I doubt that even in this day, tolerant and educated Christians will simply turn the other cheek to the hypothetical radical Christians that are out to fight, torture, murder and subjugate them because they interpret their religion differently (which did happen to an unprecedented scale a few centuries ago in The Thirty Years' War) The fact of the matter is that there is a dangerous branch in Islam that rose to power due in part to western interventions; that have been and still are spreading a poisonous and extremely dangerous way of thinking. You cannot eradicate that overnight by turning your other cheek.. there's no way to avoid conflict under such circumstances. |
its not significant, its minority, media focuses on that part of the world because it makes better news. And the muslim who took initiative to study about the religion and the way it should be practice is way different then a muslim who was told about the islam by some fanatic guy who was preached by some other fanatic guy.. and these illiterate muslim hate these intellectual muslim who question their method of practicing religion... this is what happened at that university.. And yes these people are Plague, because of their tribal belief.
