Really impressed with everything Microsoft isdoing with the Scorpio. I am fully on board with this thing, and will be jumping day one.
I think people are making much to big of a deal about console devs having to scale games though. All games and all engines have been scalable for years. Big studios like Naughty Dog, Turn 10, Polyphony, Rockstar North, ect. have all been developing their games from much higher quality assests which are tuned back to work within the limits of the current hardware. Microsoft, Sony, and Ninendo all release games that are cross gen without issue, and that is a much larger task than simple optimization on similar tech.
I hope that the Scoprio is just as successful or more so than the Pro has been. I like the idea of scalable hardware within generations. The consoles have great OSs, and I enjoy them much more than Windows. It would be an absolute dream if I could have the option to pay for a high end console with top PC specs. We have this option in every other field of electronics, it is time consoles caught up, and gave people choices. Some can be just as happy with their $200 XB/PS/Nin as I am with my $1500 enthusiast model.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
