Even if all my fav Wii U games end up getting Switch ports (and I doubt they will; stuff like Mario Kart 8 is one thing but it seems less likely for games like Bayonetta 2, Fatal Frame 5, Tropical Freeze, Xenoblade X, or Captain Toad) that still doesn't make the Wii U not worth it in my opinion, because I already got to enjoy those games years ago, and them being available on another system now doesn't cancel out the enjoyment I got from them.

Did you really like Fatal Frame 5 that much? I haven't really heard anything but bad things about it but I really want to jump into the franchise.

It's definitely not for everyone; it's very much an old school kind of game in the vein of PS2 era survival horror like the first few Silent Hill games. The pacing is a bit slower than in most modern games, and there's a fair bit of backtracking. If that kind of thing tries your patience, it's probably not for you, but if you're cool with that, I'd say it's definitely worth checking out. It is a little unpolished, but it offers the kind of slow-burn cerebral horror and eerie atmosphere you don't see so often these days, and for me that's enough to make up for its flaws.
