Why would anyone seeking out those videos or streams care about spoilers? This sounds just like harassment of content creators under the guise of "protecting the fans". That's even worse than just being an asshole, it's being an asshole and lying about it.
Or maybe they're just very very naive and think they can somehow control the internet with threats.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
