I'm asking cause I enjoyed that game a lot, the game was praised by everyone but I don't remember people frustrated with weapons durability (something that tons of games have) This is the biggest criticism for zelda, I'm not saying that you're wrong if you don't like that aspect of the game, I'm asking if this is a big issue because I don't remember the same reaction for other games like the witcher 3 or fallout 4 where you have to deal with weapons durability, clothes durability  and other bs like carrying too much weight.

It all depends on how quickly your weapon degrades. If it can go from fully effective to reduced damage in the course of one fight that's probably overdoing things. In TW3 you could engage in several fights before your swords or armour would do reduced damage / provide reduced protection.

Also you pick up so many swords in TW3 that you could literally not bother with reparing weapons ever through most of the game, if you weren't trying to min-max your damage output. Or you could craft a new sword every time one gets down to 75%.
