After 2 people I almost trust in anime taste have recommended Kemono friends to me I gave it another shot. I initially dropped it after the first ep because it bored me to death and the appearance of a kids show didn't give me any confidence to expect improvement.
I'm up to ep 5 now and while the quality hasn't really improved it's commendable what those people have done with an apparently low budget. While it looks cheap, they've put all the more effort into the animation and voice acting.
Also Best girl so far is Toki.
