My favorite series are Mass Effect and Metal Gear Solid. So let's see. Metascore on the left, how I'd grade it on the right.

Mass Effect: 91 | 91
Mass Effect 2: 96 | 98
Mass Effect 3: 93 | 94

Metal Gear Solid: 94 | 92
Metal Gear Solid 2: 96 | 90
Metal Gear Solid 3: 91 | 95
Metal Gear Solid 4: 94 | 92
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker: 89 | 93
Metal Gear Solid V: 93 | 93

So yeah, they seem to line up pretty well. The biggest shifts are MGS2 and Peace Walker, and even then the biggest gap is six points.
