If Sony did actually go through with this idea, they didn't steal it from Nintendo.

That just has the PSP Go with a dock and using Move with it. Definitely not the same thing as Switch and especially the patent (trademark?) in the OP.

So a handheld that you can dock to a base connected to your tv that allows you to use external motion controllers with it isn't a basic premise for how the Swtich functions? The only that's missing is the ability to use those external motion controllers without the base.

Also, it's also worth noting that the PSP Go allowed you to use a PS3 controller as an input without a dock.
