Seriously though, I honestly couldn't care less about 2D Zelda at this point. Unlike other franchises, I just feel like 3D Zeldas are better and have rendered their 2D counterparts completely obsolete in comparison.

Well that's just wrong. A Link Between Worlds blows every 3D Zelda out of the water with only its overworld.

Means nothing when they fucked up as badly as they did with how items are handled.
