Nothing, because the game itself is massive and full of content. The DLC is there as an option if you want to expand the game that little bit longer. Same with Smash on Wii U. I bought only a couple of bits of DLC for that, but the game Itself was stuffed with content you could easily get by without purchasing any of the DLC. For me DLC is only an issue when the main game is light on content and its blatant its been butchered down as a means to get people to buy the extras.
