I don't agree with the dude on EVERYTHING these days (such as his single-handedly ruining Star Fox Zero by insisting on a terrible control scheme). But I do agree on this.
I've never, even once, been attracted to the idea of VR. Any more than I was into "3D". It's just gimmickry. At the end of the day, I want to play good games. Not have something strapped to my face.
