WHERE'S WALLY-STYLE FINDING GAME HIDDEN FOLKS OUT NEXT WEEK
http://www.pcgamer.com/wheres-wally-style-finding-game-hidden-folks-out-next-week/
I have been eagerly awaiting the release of Hidden Folks, a Where's Wally-esque game about combing through scenes in order to find people hidden from view. The major differences between this and Where's Wally/Waldo are the absence of colour, the astonishing mouth-noises, and the fact that each scene is interactive. You'll pull at blinds, open doors, and prod at bushes to find the folks obscured in each beautifully illustrated stage. While you do so, the scene's inhabitants will mill about, and cars and buses will pass by on the monochrome roads. It's rather lovely.

>>I thought the books were called "Where's Waldo" in English, or was it only in the US?

SUPER LOVELY PLANET SWAPS FIRST- FOR THIRD-PERSON PLATFORMING
http://www.pcgamer.com/super-lovely-planet-swaps-first-for-third-person-platforming/
Lovely Planet Arcade, the sequel to colourful first-person platformer Lovely Planet, did things a little differently to its forbear: it ditched the y-axis, and made it so that projectiles worked via the instantaneous 'hitscan' method rather than via slowly moving physical missiles. It seemed to be taking things back to the days of Doom, when you didn't have to worry about looking up or down: a source of much anxiety in this modern, multi-level world of ours.

NI NO KUNI 2 FLAUNTS ITS FLASHY COMBAT IN LATEST TRAILER
http://www.pcgamer.com/ni-no-kuni-2-flaunts-its-flashy-combat-in-latest-trailer/
Ni No Kuni 2—sequel to the gorgeous PS3 and DS RPG that looked like an interactive Studio Ghibli film, and that played like My First JRPG—is coming to PC, and more of the genre on the keyboardy platform is always good news. In fact, after watching the recent trailer, I think I'd upgrade that to great news, as Ni No Kuni 2 appears much improved over its predecessor. The animation is even better, battles look more engaging, and you even get a load of Pikmin-ish things to order about in combat.

STARBOUND TO REVAMP SPACE TRAVEL IN FUTURE UPDATE
http://www.pcgamer.com/starbound-to-revamp-space-travel-in-future-update/
When it's not working on its two new games, Starbound developer Chucklefish finds the time to update, well, Starbound, its spacey, science fiction sandbox game. True to that, a new post on the Chuckleblog sheds a bit of light on an upcoming patch that will revamp the way space travel works. You'll soon be able to fly freely around star systems in your little pixel spaceship, or in a bunch of new vehicles that will be added as part of the update. Here's a GIF that shows the work-in-progress system off (I do like how your craft appears to automatically orbit planets if you get close enough).

"DESYNC" GIFS SHOW OFF ALL THE GLORIOUS WAYS YOU CAN SMITE FOES
http://www.pcgamer.com/desync-gifs-show-off-all-the-glorious-ways-you-can-smite-foes/
Desync is more than its glowing retro-futuristic art style: it's an FPS marrying the speed and reflexes demanded of ye olde Quakes, with a focus on stylish player performance. Rather than simply killing and surviving, the game wants you to do those things beautifully. Or at least, impressively.

Armored Warfare, a free-to-play tank combat game developed by Obsidian, will no longer be handled by the famed RPG studio. Instead, the game's Russian publisher My.com is taking over.

Earlier this month, Rocket League developer Psyonix revealed the soccer-meets-racing game was in-line for its own range of toy cars. Now, it's announced Hot Wheels will enter the digital cage by way of two premium DLC packs set to land later this month.

STREET FIGHTER 5 TO BRING CHARACTERS TO FREE-TO-DOWNLOAD CARD GAME SHADOWVERSE
http://www.pcgamer.com/street-fighter-5-to-bring-characters-to-free-to-download-card-game-shadowverse/
After launching on mobile devices last June, Cygames' Hearthstone-a-like Shadowverse arrived on PC in late October. It's since racked up loads of glowing Steam reviews, and now seeks to add some "extra punch" to its deep CCP strategy makeup by inviting seven Street Fighter 5 characters into the fold this spring.

That's all the news I have for today. Let's see what's in store for tomorrow.
