And beyond direct comparisons to other games with similar features, there's the fact that game development has never been more costly, particularly for these large AAA games, and yet the cost is cheaper than ever for consumers. $59.99 is not worth the same amount of money as it was in 2010, or 2002. Yet, it's never been increased to compensate for not only vastly increased development costs, but also inflation.
