He was as complimentary as he could be for someone who is on Sony's payroll. Then again, this is Kojima; he has "screw you, I'll say what I want" levels of seniority in the gaming industry so I doubt he was holding anything back. Plus, Sony is on top and going in a different direction when it comes to gaming so they probably see themselves being removed enough from Nintendo in-terms of target audiences to allow themselves to be complimentary. I doubt they would allow their employees and associates to be as positive when it comes to Microsoft.
