I'll take a new Zelda or Xenoblade Chronicles or The Last of Us any day over Gears of Halo 46865789976433. I guess my idea of "AAA" is not what the mainstream definition of "AAA" is. To me, Madden and Call of Duty type games are just money-grubbing shovelware, and you can pretty much add "me too" Halo to the list now. It's been whored out every time MS needs money and they keep cancelling everything else. And gameless $250 CEs on top of it and blatantly marketing to the puffed up masculinity of the mainstream Western market exclusively.
Real "AAA" games are timeless masterpieces like Xenoblade Chronicles, Ni no Kuni, and The Last of Us. Not copy-pasted 10 x 10 versus mode alley ways and new gun skins every 3 months.
