I can't play any 2D fighting games without a saturn pad...expecially street fighter. And I know for a fact there are a lot of people like me...
Therefore, I was looking for the PS2 version of the saturn pad for a long long time time. They pop up on ebay every few weeks for 150 bucks a pop...
Ever since I got a PS3 2 weeks ago, this has beed on my mind...and I thought there must be an easier and cheaper way. Well I am proud to say that I got my saturn pad working on a ps3.
I used the folowing items.
1 Sega Saturn Pad.
This plugs in to Magic Box for xbox (Saturn, PS2, Dreamcast converter for xbox). I bought this to play street fighter anniversary on the original xbox
Now this plugs in to the Xbox to PS2 converter called XP Joybox I recieved last week form Play-Asia.
And this finally plugs in to the PS2 to PS3 converter that I got when I got my ps3.
And it works perfectly. Mortal Komabt 2...PS2 street fighter anniversary all work amazingly. Technically this works on a ps2 as well without the PS2 to PS3 converter.
All I can say is that you're all screwed now when SF2 HD and SF4 come out and you have to play me. :)
