Yes they did. 10 years of hype needs 10mil sales to break even. Do you math bro?
Jokes aside people get those statements mixed up all the time. I remember Hyrule Warriors developer said the same thing (1mil) and everyone went crazy with that. (At least it did hit that figure thanks to US)
