#39 - Persona 3 Portable

Game: Persona 3 Portable
Genre: RPG
Developer: Atlus
System: Playstation Portable (PSP)
Total Score: 95/100
Value Score: 9.5/10

Persona 3 Portable was my 3rd straight Persona game I played (I played the first two on PSP right before getting into P3P). I didnt expect this much of a change from P1 and P2 when I played P3P. Other than the way the  characters were showcased and the music was done, the entire gameplay played sorta like a Visual Novel which I didnt expect at all when I first got into the game. I heard that the original on PS2 had a full sized world like P1 and P2 but I wasnt bothered by that.

The inclusion of Social links was genius because about half of my gameplay was solely around Social links, improving my relations with characters and doing side quest like stuff to get items (most of which I barely used to begin with) but it was fun collecting them.

I must have spent at least 70+ hours on the overall game (which is nothing compared to P1's playthrough which I spent 90+ hours) but this was one of my longest RPG runs and I enjoyed every bit of it.

I'll be playing P3FES for the PS2 sometime in the future unless SEGA/Atlus releases the PS2 to PS4 classic on PS4 PSN or if they get the balls to release it on PC :P
