Played 22hrs now.
Its a fun game, has humor, although your companions do get repetitive and sometimes annoying. The side quests are very repetitive, but the world is beautifull so its worth exploring even tough the quests you are on are generally "find this" or "kill that" its still fun.
The main quest has good and bad things, the storytelling hasn't been great, but there have been a few interesting things and some moments did feel epic.
The main problem I have with the game is the combat is quite boring and not as strategic as old final fantasy games, even compared to FFXII the combat is a joke. Also the music and the emotional feel are completely gone.
Its a step in the good direct to make Final Fantasy fun again but its a bad step story- and engagement wise. So although I will definitely complete and enjoy the game, I think its a step in the wrong direction for the franchise.
