I recently played and beat Zelda 2, so I wanted to give my thoughts about it since it's the black sheep of the series. If you're worried about spoilers (For a 30 year old game), please leave if you want to.

Leaving out complaints caused by hardware limitations, the game was much easier than I thought it would be. That's mostly because I used a guide, but even if I didn't know where to go it was very easy to me to just skip enemies (which I started doing once I leveled up everything), even in the last dungeon. And when I did figure out where I was going, I could easily breeze through the last dungeon, which is supposed to be insanely hard. For me, the game was hardest at the beginning, and it got easier as I leveled up, and learned skills and spells. But this complaint isn't really too serious because I'm sure it wasn't designed to be played through with a guide.

Something I really liked about the game was the combat. It felt really good to me, and even the easy enemies were satisfying to kill. And of course there were plenty of difficult enemies, especially before you start leveling up or know the best ways to kill them (Like Iron Knuckles). One thing I didn't like too much was the fact that they're in the overworld constantly, which was really repetitive for me. Of course it helps with XP, but I think it would've been better if they appeared less often, but in larger numbers, so they're more of a threat than an annoyance. Another thing that I wanted was a linear dungeon that focused on fighting enemies, like a Cave of Ordeals, but that never happened.

I didn't really touch on that much, but overall I liked it more than I thought I would. And now I'm done.

Can't wait for The Zelder Scrolls 3: Breath of The Wild Hunt!
