5.5 million PS3s sold

As of June 10th, 5.5 million consoles have been sold to retailers with about 3.5M sold through to consumers. There are about 2 million consoles sitting on shelves for the PS3, which is about the same number as there are for the 360 which has about 12M sold to retailers and 10M sold to consumers.
