I'd say investors have the least knowledge of all people of how the gaming industry works. They didn't even know Nintendo was getting a small percentage of Pokemon GO money. Sony share price also went down after PS4 announcement and look how well that thing is performing. Also most people seem to be optimistic about the Switch.
