On top of that, no one claims that the world came from nothing. If that's your understanding of mankind's current scientific understanding of the creation of the universe, then it just goes to show how little you understand it. Perhaps you should read the book instead of the title. He doesn't actually claim the universe happened out of nothing, but rather, came out of an unknown that, when over-simplified, would effectively be "nothing".
