Hey man, I'm not the one who has to believe in imaginary friends in order to think my life has meaning. Believing in a deity is childish because if you objectively look at it, it's the same as beliving in Santa Claus. How many people do you think would take you seriously if you said you believed in Santa Claus? The only difference between Jesus and Santa Claus, is that the people who made him up admitted to doing so.

It's ironic how arrogant you are about how right your beliefs are, yet feel you have the right to accuse others of being too prideful. You're projecting your flaws onto others.

No one here hates you. We're laughing at you. There's a difference.

Sure there's difference, but it proves my point even further. You are so puffed with pride that you go so far as to laugh at other peoples' beliefs. In a face to face debate, you would go nowhere with that attitude. Yet that is the attitude I see from the majority of atheists. Cocky, arrogant individuals who think they are smarter than religious people, even to the point of shunning them, considering their ideas liberated and elevated, yet the irony is that not believing in a deity is tantamount to believing in the imaginary, Santa if you like, because it's logically impossible from a purely naturalistic point of view that this world originated from nothing. So as much as I'm not laughing, the expression fits well: the joke's on you.

You're the one claiming people like me are in denial. That's an insult. You're insulting other people and then when you recieve similar insults back, you act like you're being attacked, when in reality it's just the reciprocation of an attack you first made. Stop acting so butt-hurt that people are laughing at your arrogant faith, you're doing the very things you claim to be so upset over.

On top of that, no one claims that the world came from nothing. If that's your understanding of mankind's current scientific understanding of the creation of the universe, then it just goes to show how little you understand it. Then you go and try to insult others for pointing out how obviously wrong you think they are when the reality of it is that you're just embarassing yourself by demonstrating your lack of knowledge. And you wonder why people laugh? You're making a fool of yourself and you don't even know it.
