That's dumb patriotism imo, if something of your country is about the same quality, then sure buy it, why not, but if it's clearly inferior it makes no sense and you are not really helping.
I can understand it when we talk about little local shops on your neighborhood, specially when is about food, but when we talk about big companies... I don't have any interest on helping them just because they are on my country.
