Gotta love how this "problem" that I have seen no one bring up or discuss before around here is suddenly become a big deal that needs discussing immediately like it's a crippling issue.
Personally, I've been in forums with post limits, it's not much better as it becomes harder to track old posts, discussions, etc. And it just gets ridiculous eventually with gobs of locked threads in the forum index that cannot be used because of the post limit but also can't be deleted because of archival importance which is very annoying.
