It's all a matter of personal taste. I'm loving Stranger Things but you can't properly judge any show based on just one series. Lost promised so much and ended up being ridiculous.
For me The Wire is peerless.
I rate The Sopranos, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul very highly. Next in my rankings would come Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Peaky Blinders.
