It could potentially sell as much as the 3DS has, and then some, because it ll be the only "console" option from nintendo this time, so not only will it sell to the handheld users, but also to the people that buy nintendos home consoles.

If nintendo play its cards right, the NX should atleast go over 50m lifetime.

Unless a lot of people who bought a 3ds were not happy with their purchase or don't like gaming on handheld any more.
