I just managed to get into the Store.... Honestly, I think Steam is starting to sort of lose their mojo when it comes the sales. The prices don't seem as good as before (but certainly still good), and they don't have the fun extra activites and stuff like they used to :-/

The thing is, Valve aren't the ones forcing those prices, it;s the devs who are the ones to decide those prices, that's why you see Activision slightly lowering their CoD prices but refusing to lower them to dirt cheap prices. For years I've watched Activision sales and in comparison they look to be the tightest devs I've ever seen out there, even compared to EA.

OT: Steam sales for the past year and a half haven't been all that great for me, without daily or flash sales I find myself actually saving more money than previous years where I'd spend more than £100 on tons of games. I find the refunds system to be a bit of an issue with those two sale types being removed and devs in general wanting that bit more money rather than more custoemrs at a given time. I'm likely to find a much better deal with Humble bundle and GMG/GoG these days.

Yeah I guess you're right, but the sales still don't seem as great as they used to be :-/

But Stardew Valley is on sale (though only 20% off)! I've been meaning to get it have had it wishlisted for a while. Should I go for it now, or wait til I can get it cheaper?
