Just to add to this post, Aqua pointed at the latest NPD thread that from the 800k Wii U's forecast, ~700k were already in their inventory, so production has almost ended completely.

  I saw it and I forgot to ask how does she know it?  How is she able to know such a thing that only Nintendo's employees would know? I suspect something though, and maybe she makes a big mistake by a misapprehension !

 

Apropos, sales-shipments of Japan comparison,   demonstrated that there was almost no wii u stock by the end of March! Since then, wii u is selling constantly 4k and Nintendo is releasing  a splatoon wii u bundle again, in July! So, Production must have not  ended!
