The same question could be asked to Ps4 and Xbox One fans.
PS4 and XB1 were marketed as the 'true' next-gen experience but in reality they didn't offer hi-end hardware. In fact, less than 3 year later a substantial upgrade is announced. That seems quite a middle finger to me.
What about the fact you have to pay for a subcription to play online? Online is free on PC and works perfectly fine, and was free on the PS3. That's nother middle finger to me. And what about M$ forcing early X1 users to buy Kinect only to abandon it 2 years later?
The truth is middle fingers are quite common in this industry.
