I'll be hosting a party for consoles that sell more than its predecessor. Ps4 has just over 7m more to go and the 3DS about 10m. This party is liable to be cancelled but if either ever do it you're invited.
Ps. Don't be comparing handhelds to consoles in Japan. It's like comparing handhelds to mobile.
Edit: well not really since they're actually both mobile devices where consoles are stationary only.
