8) Last 4 elections came down to PT vs. PSDB. The PSDB is the second biggest party in Brazil and it was built upon the PMDB. Some politicians did not like what PMDB had become and started the PSDB, and that turned out very well for them. PSDB is the most influential party in Brazil as most of Brazils media giants are affiliated in this party. For example, Luciano Huck, one of biggest entertaining names in Brazils television is a PSDB affiliate.

About the media:

Before Temer was the president having the dollar over R$3 was awful according to Globo because Brazilians couldn't go to USA http://g1.globo.com/turismo-e-viagem/noticia/2015/02/com-dolar-nas-alturas-brasileiro-perde-poder-de-compra-e-evita-exterior.html

After Temer becomes the president having the dollar over R$3 is great because it helps our economy since we become more competive for exportation and tourism brings money to the country http://g1.globo.com/economia/noticia/2016/05/dolar-alto-deixa-brasil-barato-para-estrangeiros-e-atrai-turistas.html

It's pretty pathetic how the media influence people and most don't even think about it.

Yeah, I know... I guess Brazil is one of those cases that just can't be closed. Brazil is like a gigantic republican party if you will, its impossible to have democrats run office without imposing their own minds. And the media is always defending who brings in the biggest amount of cash, its not even funny. Brazil may be the worst democracy in the world right now. It's basically a democracy in depression that people want to kill instead of heal. Very difficult times.
